Going down to the shore this summer?

Don't just sit there - do an Mm2 survey to see what animals and plants live on the shore!  If is it a shore you have surveyed before, carry out a new survey and when you upload your data to the website you can check if anything has changed since the last time you did a survey.

Seaweek Ocean Champions

Over the holidays ...perhaps while at the beach...think about who you would like to nominate as Seaweek's Ocean Champion for 2017. Sponsored by the New Zealand Coastal Society the  winning Ocean Champion will win a prize equivalent to $500. Nominations close 27 January 2017.

Anyone can be an Ocean Champion if they help to look after our oceans. A champion might be an individual or a group.

Nominations are being taken via the Seaweek website. Voting on the nominees will take place from 1-24 February.

All nominees will be featured on the website and the winner will be announced during Seaweek - Saturday 25 February to Sunday 5 March 2017.
